Earlier this month, happened the second edition of the "Portos Brasil". In this event, the public company Portos do Paraná won two of the eight categories, was considered the port with the best public management in Brazil, leading the national ranking in market and management practices.
Leading for the second year in a row, the State achieved the highest score on the Port Authority Management Index (PAAA), with 9 points. This indicator is considered the most important for confirming port management capability.
As the central point on the map of South America, Paraná invests in the expansion and improvement of different logistical modes. Including the new highway concession program, which provides for more than 3,300 kilometers of state and federal toll roads, the Nova Ferroeste project, a railroad linking Maracaju (MS) to the Port of Paranaguá, and the concession for the airports in Paraná.
In addition, they were winners in the Execution of Planned Investments category, obtaining an index of 76.1%.
Finally, in addition to the awards, the Ports of Paraná do not stop their investments. One of them is to build a new Export Corridor, with a loading capacity of 32 thousand tons per hour, in eight integrated lines.
